Problem

I cannot flash the new Wemos D1 mini pro USB-C version. The device is not recognized by Windows.

Solution

The change of USB-C cable helped. On the old cable, the device was powered, but Windows was not recognizing it.

Story

I bought some Wemos D1 mini pro chips to build one small project for my dad (I will describe it later in a new post when it's done). The first step was to flash it with the newest ESPEasy firmware, and here the problem started. I tried to install all the recommended drivers but still had no success. Then I thought that maybe the cable was wrong as I did not see Wemos in the Device Manager. And I was right...
